Seller's comments and description: 1966 cadillac eldorado biarritz convertible. Top of the line model with all the options. Original black interior with wood door panels, rare bucket seats and center console. It’s been repainted keeping its original firemist red color with metallic flake added. The body is strait and under the car looks like new. The engine is the powerful 429cid - 340hp/480ft-lbs torque and (th400) turbo hydra-matic transmission. The 429 engine installed in the car is not original but it has been rebuilt and is very clean inside and recently inspected. The odometer shows 31,743 miles. 2,250 eldorado convertibles were made in 66. This low #’s car being fully loaded with bucket seats puts production in the low 200's range. This 50 year old classic is extremely rare. It has not been restored and is a survivor that has been stored away and preserved for most of its life. Bucket Seats

This car is only for someone who understands its intrinsic value. My dad was the original owner. I drove it up from his palm springs ca home 10 years ago after his death. I have not turned it over in a very long time because it needed brake work, and i have not wanted to have gone to the trouble of prepping the gas. Convertible top works. I don't know how many miles on the car either because of faulty odometer, or it turned over, but the miles don't make sense. The car has sat and collected dust in a garage and does not look pretty like before being in the garage.

The floor pans are all in excellent shape except for the drivers side rear pan has a small area of rust in the bottom of the pan I installed new shoes, brakes hoses, had the drums turned, and installed a new master cylinder. The brakes now work but, feel like they might need either some adjusting or to just be driven and broken in a little bit. It has been garaged the majority of its life but, was driven a good 30 years

Dealerid=471615options:description:the big body cadillac convertibles of the 60's are some of the most iconic body styles that were designed and brought to market. The massive rear ends, fins, room for 6 and a smooth ride that was unmatched of the era. The 429 v8 engine was completely overhauled in 2004. A new starter was installed at this time along with some exhaust work. The v8 is mated to a column shift, automatic transmission. The rear end was gone through, steering box was replaced in 2006. In 2008 the seats were taken apart and new cushion was installed. In 2006 this vintage cruiser also had the brakes done, inner and outer tie rods, and a wheel alignment. It comes with owner’s manual and books. The blue vinyl power top works as it should. The blue vinyl interior shows well for its age. The chrome is starting to show some aging as well, but overall looks great. The car has an am/fm radio, woodgrain on the door panels, full size spare with jack and tools, wheel skirts, power steering and power brakes, 15 inch factory steel wheels with hubcaps with whitewall tires and center console.
