This is an outstanding example of a very rare 50s gm classic. One of only 8505 built. This was a totally rust free, damage free veh. That is revealed in an album that shows its bare metal preparation for its first repaint (oct. 2015 ) the chrome, stainless, glass, top, and interior are all in excellent condition. My narrative description, and photos can not truly describe the quality and drivability of this fantastic veh. With just over 52000 original miles it looks, runs, and drives better than new. I welcome anyone or their agent to come and inspect this car.

Amazing style and a stellar restoration come together on this 1957 buick century caballero. The station wagon started out as a true specialist machine, and these buick hardtops were a tribute to that experience. Built at the iona manufacturing co., instead of fisher, these bodies were by specialists who understood how to create something quite striking. And because these steel-bodied hardtops were only available for a short period, they will always be a cherished chapter of american motoring. It has been expertly restored to be absolutely memorable. The level of investment in the candy apple red paint makes us want to call this a ruby. And we absolutely love how the side trim is utilized for the two-tone combo. The large grille looks like a 10,000-watt smile; the 1950 hood ornament is the perfect addition; and the intricate bumpers have been freshly re-dipped along with all the other trim. The handsome interior looks like it has had a serious investment in keeping it looking period-correct. We love how the door panels, dash, headliner, and carpeting are all part of a well-coordinated package. The steering wheel is purely built for elegance with a full chrome trim ring and buick crest in the center. Even buick's sonomatic am radio is still in place and playing the old time tunes... Yes, this car feels that good! 1957 was also a great year because it was the debut of an updated and larger 364 cubic-inch nailhead v8 motor. Despite the odd name, the lightweight design, big torque, and hardy construction make these legendary powerplants. It looks spectacular in this engine bay with the bright radiator and copper-colored air topper adding real distinction. But more than just look good, this special wagon was meant to drive.

Not even so much as a significant dent on it. All glass, lens, emblems, trim, and chrome is good. All of the little things that really add up during a restoration are here. I am the second owner. I drove this car into the garage and parked it 10 years ago. That was the last time it ran. At that time the brakes were in need of adjustment, but everything else worked. Just needs a little tlc. .
