Up for sale is a 1976 buick riviera a true survivor car.. One owner 78000 miles.. The story on this car is that is was bought new by my wifes grandfather on 1-7-1976.. It was drivin until the late 90's or early 2000's.. It was last plated in 2003 according to the tags.. Granpa told me he kept buying the stickers for the tags for a few years after he stored the car away.. A few months ago he asked me to get it out of the garage (heated garage it had been stored in for 15+ years) and get it running and sell it for him.. I own 4 napa stores and i am a ase certified mechanic, so i told him i would do that for him.. I picked it up on 1-7-2017 not knowing until i started going through papers that it was exactly 41 years to the day that he bought it and picked it up.. What i have done to it is this... New air and fuel filtercleaned all fuel lines out and replaced the rubber line sectionsnew fuel pumpthe car runs and starts great.. Tires are flat spotted from sitting so going over 35mph is about the most ive done.. I figured someone may want to do a tire and wheel type thing so i left them how it was.. I did nothing with the carburator, it runs and idles really good but with it sitting as long as it has a kit would be a good idea... The bumper fillers (common problem for these cars) will need to be replaced the are dry and brittle from sitting from that point it going to be basic stuff a 41 years old car will need.. This car is truly the cleanest, straightest, cars i have ever seen please e-mail me with any questions..
