Motorcar studio is pleased to offer this 1973 bmw 2002. Agreat driver-quality roundie that remains in mostly stock and originalcondition. Recent glass-out repaint to a good standard in correct golf yellowwith many new rubbers and seals. Runs and drives great. Trim and bumpers are straight but havepatina. Evidence of older amateur driverside floor pan and spare tire well patches but overall the car is pretty solidunderneath and shows no evidence of rust in the shock towers. Although it's not restored to a show-car standard this '02is a very attractive example that is ready to be driven and certainly drawsattention from enthusiasts.

Netoptions:description:here is a very nice solid 1973 bmw 3. 0cs which is in an excellent condition for it's age given that it has not been restored. It is currently part of a collection since it was originally owned by "michael douglas" for the first 30 years of it's life in california. After almost 2 years of ownership i'm ready to find it a new home. It has been an absolute joy to own. Turns heads everywhere i go. The exhaust note under acceleration is just amazing. Its has malaga exterior with a natural brown (butter-scotch) interior. I know this car spent some time at coupe king around 2004 and some of the pieces were re-dyed. The carpet, back side of the leather, door panels and plastics all match this color so i believe it is original. It is a 4 speed car. Upgrades to the car pertronix pointless ignition setup, new cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. New sport springs to replace the sagging factory springs with bilstein shocks. Webber carburator upgrade. It does have an older upgraded stereo system that i'm not crazy about. I do have an accurate account of all of the previous owners. I have the paperwork to prove it with color copy of the pink slip (california title) from michael douglas' ownership. I have all service records from the previous owners. I do not have accounts of any accident history. Previous owner informed me of one repair on the right front fender where the emergency-brake was not engaged correctly and did the car rolled and gently slid into a nearby light post while he was in the store. This required a small repair to the right front fender and respray. When i purchased the car i inspected the complete chassis and hidden areas for signs of rust and previous accident repairs. I have photo documentation attached of the "problem" areas that i found. The rest of the car looked solid. All under-body areas that had surface stains were cleaned, rust preventative used and then painted. In the quarter panels and front areas there are no rust and also the case with fender wells as pictured. I used a product that helps prevent any future issues. I didn't see any issues when using a bore scope and looking in the panels. This was just for my piece of mind. Sunroof/Moonroof

The original paint was Polaris/silver but the exterior was sprayed an Alpine White-like color. The one on the driver's side was due to a broken door stop. Each door has a small dent. The rear panel was replaced at one point and the repair was isolated as there are no other signs of damage or work to the nearby panels and trunk lid. All body panels, including the non-snorkel nose, are in great shape and line up with good gaps throughout
