One owner, 1997 bmw 840ci with 95,000 miles 4. 4l, 282-hp, 5-sp automatic with tiptronic manual shifting; originally from palm beach island. I drove it up from my aunt's place last june and it's been here in cleveland since last summer and stored in a heated garage over the winter. She originally leased the car in 1996 and about 9 months later, bought it from the lease. New twin catalytic converters installed along with the new water pump, valve cover gaskets, valley pan (whatever that is) and other cooling related components replaced about a year or two ago before i drove it up from florida. New saddle batteries installed also and all dealer invoices/service records since it was new are also included. Carfax copy available too.

1997 bmw 840ci, 103k miles, m62b44 engine(non-vanos), 5 speed steptronic transmission, oem m-parallel wheels, brand new goodyear tires (5k miles on them), tan leather, 6 disc cd changer in trunk, tool kit still in trunk, interior has no rips/tears/stains, transmission functions well in auto/sport/manual modes.*the m62b44 engine was only available in north america from 96-97. This engine has 15 ft-lbs more torque than the m60 it replaced. 282hp 310ft-lbs. This is the most trouble free and desirable drivetrain of the v8 cars. 786 of the m62/steptronic cars were brought to the u. The car still shows very well, i get plenty of compliments on the road and at the shows.*car is very clean under the hood, i’ve replaced 100% of the cooling system (radiator, hoses, heater valveswater pump, auxiliary water pump, valley pan, etc..) this was done a preventative maintenance. All but 1 power steering hoses have been replaced, valve cover gaskets replaced (this engine does not leak or burn a drop of oil), timing chains do not make noise. All replacement parts came from bmw of minnetonka, i have over $3,200 in parts receipts. Other than the issues listed below this car is sound and reliable.*the flaws: sunroof fabric is beginning to pull away,windshield is cracked.*phone calls preferred, thanks.
