Netoptions:description:here is a very nice solid 1973 bmw 3. 0cs which is in an excellent condition for it's age given that it has not been restored. It is currently part of a collection since it was originally owned by "michael douglas" for the first 30 years of it's life in california. After almost 2 years of ownership i'm ready to find it a new home. It has been an absolute joy to own. Turns heads everywhere i go. The exhaust note under acceleration is just amazing. Its has malaga exterior with a natural brown (butter-scotch) interior. I know this car spent some time at coupe king around 2004 and some of the pieces were re-dyed. The carpet, back side of the leather, door panels and plastics all match this color so i believe it is original. It is a 4 speed car. Upgrades to the car pertronix pointless ignition setup, new cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. New sport springs to replace the sagging factory springs with bilstein shocks. Webber carburator upgrade. It does have an older upgraded stereo system that i'm not crazy about. I do have an accurate account of all of the previous owners. I have the paperwork to prove it with color copy of the pink slip (california title) from michael douglas' ownership. I have all service records from the previous owners. I do not have accounts of any accident history. Previous owner informed me of one repair on the right front fender where the emergency-brake was not engaged correctly and did the car rolled and gently slid into a nearby light post while he was in the store. This required a small repair to the right front fender and respray. When i purchased the car i inspected the complete chassis and hidden areas for signs of rust and previous accident repairs. I have photo documentation attached of the "problem" areas that i found. The rest of the car looked solid. All under-body areas that had surface stains were cleaned, rust preventative used and then painted. In the quarter panels and front areas there are no rust and also the case with fender wells as pictured. I used a product that helps prevent any future issues. I didn't see any issues when using a bore scope and looking in the panels. This was just for my piece of mind. Sunroof/Moonroof

The car is one of 779 3. 0s built in 1973 by bmw. It was sold by crevier bmw in newport in 1973. Several years later the owner traded it in on a new bmw with around 60,000 miles on it. Crevier had a museum of bmws and he keep this one in the museum until 2011 when he sold his dealership to roger penske who wanted the museum for his race cars. Donnie crevier, a friend of mine, sold me the car when he sold most of the collection. I have put about 5,000 miles on it since i bought it. I just replaced the air condenser, but other than that the car is very original.

1972 bmw 3. 0cs, i just finished a repaint which was stripped down to bare metal, primed andrepainted in original baikal blue. New leather seats front and back, removed all trim, front and rear glass for repaint. Was stripped to bare metal and repainted original color (baikal). Re-chromed all window trim and rear surround, newwindow seals. All windows work, sunroof works, all lights, blinkers, etc work. Has the original radio am/fm. The only drawback is thisdoesn't have air conditioning, however i do have an ac system i can pull out of a parts bavaria i have. Engine is strongjust had the valves adjusted, no leaks, brakes are good, tires are great-z rated. Rims do have some curb rash. There aresome minor things that are not prefect, the wood trim has some lacquer missing on some pieces, etc. AM/FM✔ Air Conditioning✔ Sunroof/Moonroof✔ Leather Seats
