Overhaul
I am moving on from the trucking industry and selling my 2001 Volvo VNL770 along with a 1994 Fruehauf dry van trailer. I have owned this truck and trailer for 7 years and it has done very well financially, but time to move on. The Truck is running well and has approximately 450,000 miles on a Detroit Series 60 ”micro blue” overhauled engine (including Bull gear $25k) including new injectors, turbo and (Pittsburgh Power) port and polished exhaust manifold and high flow muffler, as well as a dampener and dampener balancer. A lot of the components on the truck have been replaced over the past couple years. Duralite charge air cooler and Radiator, Lipe 2 clutch, new steering box, new u-joints and carrier bearing. Recently done front end bushings and pins as well as Road King shocks (front). Also has an OPS oil purification system. Has a 10 speed Eaton Auto-shift (clutch pedal operated) that has had no problems (has had xy shifter replaced few years ago). I’m also including DISH receiver and satellite (tailgator) installed on truck, as well as Sirius receiver, and a refrigerator and microwave. I have an IKEA futon in the bottom bunk with custom table setup and slept in top bunk. Tires have a lot of life left. It could use a little cosmetic TLC but does not affect its money making ability. This truck has been working and making money to this point and is looking to continue doing so. The trailer is in good condition and replaced the floor 2 years ago. Tires are good as well as brakes and rebuilt the braking system and bearings within last couple years. I don’t want to sell truck and have a trailer sitting with no way to move.
