Truck used for Volvo and Caterpillar so meticulously maintained. NO knocks, smoke rattles. NEW brakes, master, Eaton clutch kit, truck has Eaton 6 speed. Will pull a hill easy in 5th no load alot of times 6th gear. Rides smooth not bouncy like a lot of trucks this size. only problem I have had is fuel gauge stopped working. I have owned it 8 years. lift gate functions well. Will pick up alot not sure but I have picked up over 1000 lbs no sweat. My contracts ended so I no longer need it. I have attached some Photos when we hauled for Cat. We painted directly on the bed but lifting the units then spraying the topside so we didn't have to move the heavy equipment as we did not own a crane. The units were most of the time over or around 12,000 lbs and my shop didn't have a crane Caterpillar did This is why truck was refreshed to clean up as it had over spray on it. Would be great for light interstate hauling but if hauling heavy long distance diesel may be better. we only used heavy for short distance. example 5000lbs highway fine. 15,000lbs 20,000 lbs short distances 20 -30 miles local deliveries. I put a new oil pan and gasket on so no major leaks or any as far as I know. Haven't ever see any oil drops on my driveway. Holds good oil pressure. Dual tanks but sending unit was leaking on drivers side so it was shut off and just use the passenger side tank. Never been an issue been like that for years. Just didn't want to spend 250 when I could just used passenger tank. I know this truck served me very well and I would keep if i still needed it. Only thing I had to do in the entire time Only work i have done was take it to have the new clutch put in as it needed a throw out bearing so done the full package, pressure plate, throwout, and disk that was probably two years ago. Feel free to ask me anything. Has new paint, fixtures, and is ready to put to work, bring tags and drive it home. Frame solid brakes stop on a dime. Has hydraulic assist safety stop.
