The investment includes $15,000 in stainless components; fenders, grille, windshield frame, fender flares, and all latches. Finishing touches include weld wheels, and paint and flames by kevin bishoff. All of these photos deserve a click for a closer look. Neatly fitted under the hood is a chevy 406 by ac nutter racing engines, with roller timing, afr aluminum heads, holley 830 carb on top of an air gap manifold, and msd 6al ignition control box. Horsepower measures over 585 on a dyno. The extensive custom sheet metal work includes the elegant dash with glove box and air conditioning, and the floor pan center console. Note the "willys" shift handle. The flaming river steering includes all-stainless column and linkage. The 7500-watt sound system has six 6-inch speakers and two 12-inch subwoofers under the front seats. The rear view is all symmetry, with twin exhausts and flush led taillights flanking a traditional tailgate done in stainless. Stainless fuel tank is under the bed, and the battery is tucked inside the left rear fender. The postal jeep frame has outboard rear springs and 2006 tahoe front springs. The dana 300 transfer case drives dana 44 differentials with 4. 11 gears and air lockers. Brakes are discs all around. Gatewayclassiccars. Com. The fuel tank contained foul smelling black ooze that no longer resembled gasoline. They repaired the cracked thermostat housing that caused the original overheating and engine seizure back before 1989, and re-cored the original Harrison radiator. The paint on it is the original color, but it was repainted at some time in the past

We stretched a 2 door willys wagon and made it a 4 door stretched wagon, only one known to exist! Engine direct from cummins central power, kansas city, with warranty. Making 22-24mpg!! (us gallons) - with 210+ hp and plenty of torque, drive train combination allows highway speeds of 70-75 very comfortable and fuel efficient. - 5 speed manual transmission (nv4500), with dual range upgear. 4 wheel drive system. Custom drive shaft, front & rear. "posi lock" on front diff.- hydro boost power brakes, power steering, and hydraulic clutch. - "case" heavy duty equipment battery (12v). - custom radiator. "spal" electric fan. - 4" aluminized custom exhaust. - custom aluminum fuel tank, approx. 33 us gallons. - factory dodge 3/4 ton brake set up. Front discs, rear drum. - custom body (stretched 40"). - 97 dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 hd chassis. - custom bupers. Custom side step running boards, with "armor liner".- custom fenders. There is just too much to list, it's one of a kind! This vehicle is 18 ½ ft from front bumper to back of tow hitch and it stands 6'11" tall. It's a driver and a show vehicle. We've been to numerous car shows & have won several trophies and plaques. The wagon has also been featured in a cummins newsletter. No matter where we go, this stretched wagon draws looks and a crowd! It's a great drive on the highway, very comfortable, i would drive it to either coast. Numerous amounts of people have mentioned this vehicle is better than any hummer, toyota, landrover, etc. With it's mpg, and weighing about 6,000 lbs, not too many modern suvs can do that. This wagon was appraised by the international automotive appraisers association at 95% complete. The appraised price was $75,000 at that point. Texas bonded title (insured) note: the last picture is a dodge power wagon truck that i found on my o'reilly calendar. I found it quite appealing & wanted to make this willys similar i like the red & black, the aggressive tires, black wheels, winch, lift, etc. Just thought i would share that idea.
