The bad stuff: The mileage is just an estimate because the odometer hasn't worked since I bought it (But again, the engine has been rebuilt recently so high mileage is less of an issue). I recently resurfaced the cylinder heads and replaced the head gaskets so the original 1.9L Liquid Cooled engine runs very nicely

We have had a lot of fun road and camping trips together in this van. It seats seven and the back seat lays down into a big bed for sleeping. It is very roomy and the interior is still in great condition. We lowered the price because the head gasket and coolant reservoir need to be replaced and so it does not run and will need to be towed away. Once those are fixed this van is still full of adventure. We have had a lot of fun road and camping trips together in this van. It seats seven and the back seat lays down into a big bed that sleeps 4 comfortably. It is very roomy and the interior is still in great condition. This has the larger 1. 9 liter original engine and it was recently rebuilt with all new bearings and seals. However the head gasket and coolant reservoir tank need to be replaced. I also added a tow hitch and use it to haul around my dirt bike, it works great. The is one small rust spot by the drivers side back rear window(as seen in pics), also the driver mirror is gone. I had the van gone over by a certified mechanic recently and the only thing it needed was brakes and rotors. Originally from California, I bought off original owner when he moved to Maryland

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy a 2nd owner 1984 westie that is completely original and maintained to be like new. I have the pleasure in listing this for a friend who no longer has a need for the westie but is committed to making sure it goes to a new home that will appreciate it in all it's beauty. There is quite a history on this one! Originally came from germany with documentation where it has been in africa and saudi arabia. This owner purchased in 1993 and spent lots of time camping on the reservations in and around arizona. Owner has lots and lots of documentation. The one thing missing is the original owners manual that had all the mechanical history ( it spent a few days in the shop and think it was there that someone removed it). Original canvas on the pop up! (one minor little tear in the top. See photos please)no leaks! (weather seal around the top has been replaced). Original oem equipment (table, screens, window shade!) records show: replaced. Muffler 1999, water pump 2003 (167k), fuel pump 2014 (180k). A/c compressor was replaced in 1995 but owners hasn't charged it, nor used the a/c in years and has no knowledge if it needs just freon or something more extensive. Please look at the photos and see what a rare beauty is available for sale. This is an auction and feel that is unfair to any other bidders. I've tried to list everything possible (good and not so good) but must reiterate that this is not a brand new vehicle and will sell as is/where is with no warranty or guarantee, express, implied or otherwise.
