Recently I purchased a franchise and come to terms to sell the car to help withthe opening of the new franchise. Please read the entire auction prior toquestions. Ill be posting as many pictures as ebay allows plus Ill provide alink to additional pictures. This car was a Renegade Hybrids build. There areother conversions out there but the people at Renegade Hybrids have built somespectacular cars and this 914 is one of their builds. This Porsche 914 overallis in great shape, far from stock but the car is solid front to back. The painton the car is very nice and shows extremely well. The 914 has some road rash upfrom on the spoiler and a few small chips around the car. The top also is painted the same as the car. Rarely do I use the top but its also in very good condition. The interior is invery nice shape. The drivers seat does have a separation on the side bolster butits small. Thecarpet , dash, side door panels gauges are all in nice shape. I have ordered acustom set of COCO mats black and yellow weave , they have yet to arrive but gowith the car. The glass is all fine in the car. Now for the fun stuff. This car belongs to a collector. I am not sure what to do with it. One could leave it as is or restore to a certaindegree. I do not want to make that decision with this car it is way too rare mess it up. The car is basically 100%except paint and original wheels are not installed. The original wheels come with car. The car has its books,tools, spare(unused) tire, jack and original footrest. The interior is original, no tears or cracks! Seats areextremely nice. I was very careful not mess with the car. No armorall or any other b. The car was kept in a drygarage in san diego. The car drives really, really nice! Pulls nicely, brakes straight and solid, turns nicely withno slop in steering wheel. Suspension is feels right and transmission works as it should. That is a bit vague butno issues with grinding. Runs at the proper temp, gauges work etc. The only driving issue is theidle is a bit low until warm. About 500 rpm cold, needs about 75 imo. 750 rpm warm is perfect. There are thefaintest signs of surface rust in 2 or 3 spots. Again at this point, i have left alone and letthe next owner make the decision. The car is too nice me for to drive.

The owner of this great 1970 porsche 914-6 nicknamed the car "silver bullet". The entire car was rebuilt including the original engine with modifications according to the third edition book by bruce anderson. The list of modifications is vast and is included in the pictures section. This is a completely numbers matching example that was completely gone through which is evident in the photos. The paint which was originally metallic green was changed to silver while the interior stayed the same. The interior seats were re-upholstered in black leatherette and lap belts were added. Complete carpet throughout. This car also comes with factory "heart wheels" which are very rare. This 914 was purchased in sacramento ca. In 1972 by the original owner who i acquired it from a couple years ago. Owner was in his 70's and only drove this car less than 500 miles a year in the last 10-15 years he owned it due to a back surgery which made it difficult for him to get in and out, according to him, the engine is original 70k mileage is accurate and the the only upgrade that was done was a lightened flywheel along with a new clutch that was done 10 years ago. The engine runs strong with the compression between 132 - 138 on all 4 cylinders on a ppi which was provided dated 6/15/2014. It has the original fuel injection and starts right up and idles great with no fuel smell nor smoke. The motor and transmission are both completely dry... Absolutely no oil leaks at this time. It has a new optima battery. I have provided 160+ pictures to show the condition of the body, frame, interior and drivetrain. It had the original paint job with nice patina when i took delivery.. I did decide to strip the 914 to the bare metal before a repaint (1 year ago)... I also upgraded to authentic original 914 2. 0 fuchs wheels (the original steel wheels will be included). The shifter bushings have been gone through and shifts nice. The bumpers and bumper tops are original to the car and both front and rear are in decent shape. Interior has new carpet, lloyd mats, and a racemark steering wheel which is sherwood engraved (original steering wheel included). 914 currently does not have a radio but original speakers are still present, the dash is original and has 1 crack as pictured, seats are original and passenger side is excellent condition and the driver side is great with the exception of a separation on the stitching in the bottom bolster as pictured (i have a pair of brand new seats as an option) door panels are in great condition, and all windows are original except the windshield which was replaced after the repaint due to a couple cracks. One thing that it should get replaced is the e-brake handle assembly, it does not stay up sometimes when engaged, i never worked on it because its parked in a garage and i never engage the e-brake. It truly is fun to drive and i receive thumps up everywhere i go. I intended to keep this vehicle, however, baby will be on the way and having 4 toys (3 old porsches) is not practical.
