I am selling my 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. I am the second owner. Car has 79k miles and is in excellent condition. I have owned this car for 6 years and have put a lot of money and time into this car. Reason for selling I just purchased a new Harley so its time to let this toy go. I have enjoyed this car for the past 6 years with absolutely zero problems. I have 100% feedback and would like to keep it that way. Car details are as follows.... Car was repainted by its previous owner and it looks better than factory with zero orange peel. Reason for painting was the clear coat was peeling. All vin tags are on the car from the front bumper cover to the rear bumper cover. All the panels are original. Rear spoiler was replaced with a fiber glass replacement. Car has absolutely zero rust. Here is a list of things I have done to the cr over the past 6 years..... We will start with the interior... 1. New replacement head liner with sun visors and sail panels.2. New stainless steel t-top bar with all new weather strip.3. New Kenwood radio with alpine speakers. All wired correctly with an 8 in ch sub-woofer and a Kenwood amp.4. Replacement 1979 Trans-Am SE steering wheel (original 1 included).5. Replacement shifter boot with new bulbs in shifter and entire dash panel.6. Custom black floor mats with gold Trans-Am bird.7. Tinted windows - 20% all around Carpet and leather seats are all original and are in excellent condition. Drivers seat shows very little wear. Air conditioning converted to 134A and blows ice cold. 301 4 speed numbers matching canadian car only 106000kms or roughly 64000miles. Same owner for 38 years. Looks to be mostly original starlight black paint it has had stone chip touch ups done. Car is original and needs some tlc. Needs windshield and tires. Cars runs decent interior is nice with new carpet the rest is original except radio but i do have the original radio. Frame is good and has had new front body mount bushings done. Roof has a couple dings where a ladder hit it in garage. I have phs papers and canadian sellers pack showing owners and no liens. Overall car is a great piece to restore or just cruise it the way it is. Super t10 4speed with hurst shifter and posi trac rear. Car is 30 minutes from detroit in canada and easy to get to. Very nice car, many upgrades. Never been on the track, NOS never sprayed through intake. Paint is 9/10, no dings or dents, a few rock chips and a couple light scratches that are only in the clear coat, would buff out easily. No cracks in dash or door panels. Tires have good tread, 2 rims are curbed though, and another has the coating coming off in a spot. The only other known issue is there is a broke wheel stud on the right rear but doesnt effect anything on the car. Car is very fast and has all the suspension upgrades to keep it from warping. Ive driven this car on two 9hr road trips and two 5hr road trips and got over 24 mpg (6 speed loves the interstates). Car was professionally tuned, currently has a NOS tune in, but needs a window switch installed to run the nitrous safely, thats why Ive never ran the gas through the car. I also have a pair of factory WS6 rims with brand new, never seen the street drag radials that I will include with the car.
