Body has very little rust. Interior is not 100 percent complete but I have new door panels and other new interior parts to go with jt. Engine runs strong just needs some attention to the carburetor Wichita is also new. Rebuilt 350 transmission with is set up for a Chevy or a Pontiac motor

For sale is a red 1968 pontiac firebird convertible. This car gets a lot of looks where ever it goes. The owner that i bought this car bought it to travel route 66 with his wife. They were intrigued with the romanceof travelling route 66 in a red firebird convertible. This road continues to captivate people around the world,running between chicago and los angeles. I have owned this firebird for approximately tenyears and have driven it approximately 9,000 miles. The firebird has been garaged all otf the years i have ownedit and the previous owner told me he had done the same. When i bought it he pulled out of his garage. This carhas had one repaint (original color) about 20 years ago. It looks ok, but a new paint job would make it lookbetter the engine has approximately 17,000 miles on it. Engine was rebuilt to original specs and serial # matchesthe car. I rebuilt the rear end about 5,000 miles ago. I have also installed a new clutch, new shocks and had theradiator serviced in the last 5,000 miles. I change oil every summer. This car runs and drives great. The topis a hard to find manual top. The top is good, but the rear window is not clear. One door the interior has abubble on it and the carpet on the bottom on the drivers side need replaced. I do not have the original radio. What it has is one that looks original, but is a 6 disc cd player. This car has not been messed with, has no rustand all original sheet metal. CD Player

Make sure and check out the video below. This car runs great. It has the huge 454 v8 engine that has a ton of power. This is one of my personal cars that i just love and hate to see go. The engine has about 4,000 miles on the rebuild. Has an aftermarket edelbrock carb setup and air filter someone stole my air filter and i took this one off my shelf.. Should get another the car deserves it. To go along with the it has the muncie 4-speed manual transmission with the hurst shifter. I just put about $1,000 in maintenance on the back axel and seals and that was all it needed. It has an upgraded aluminum radiator so it runs cooler. This is one of my favorite cars i have ever owned and got to drive. The bright yellow paint is in excellent shape. The body is as straight as can be and i don't believe it even has a door ding. The black enterior goes great with the yellow exterior. Has the black top cover the snaps over the back that is in great condition. All of the chrome and the car is in excellent condition and just shines in the sun. I just love the dual snorkle hoods on these. Obiviously there is blinker lights to add in the front the guy before me was going to shave them but i just had to have it! Has the factory rally wheels that are in near perfect condition and the chrome beauty rings are the same. Has a nice set of goodyear tires that have plenty of tread left. The interior is perfect and this car and was fully restored with the rest of it. It has the solid black interior. The seats are vinyl and are in amazing shape and shape no wear. The don't even look like they have been sat in before. I had brand new carpet just installed in the whole car. The dash doesnt have any cracks in it. It doesn't have the radio and the dash was not cut...;-) center tach and guages were added. All of the gauges work. The windows and top are not on the car and handles are not on but we do have the glass and convertible top for re installation. This car is excellent shape and will make a great classic hot rod for someone. This car is just a rare beauty. Don't miss out on this car before i change my mind and decide not to sell it ;p that's why this was one of my personal cars that i just loved and hate to see it leave. Call anytime with questions….
