It starts immediately,shifts smooth, and drives straight and tight. I would give the exterior a 9/10and the interior a 9.5/10 with perfect dash and leather. The car was recentlyserviced at the Greensboro, NC, M-B dealership and no issues were noted. The A/Chas been recently serviced and converted. I also have the hardtop with stand andfactory protective cover.

The "Arctic White" paint shines absolutely like brand new. There aren't any dents, dings, or scratches anywhere on the body to mention other than a tiny scrape on the tonneau cover from the hardtop. The undercarriage is nice and clean as well with no issues. The chrome is all in great shape and is shiny with no pitting. The original alloy wheels are absolutely perfect, wrapped in Michelin Energy tires with about 75% tread remaining. Interior:The interior is just as nice. The carpets, seats, dashboard, headliner, and glass are all very, very clean. There isn't any wear or tear to mention. There are no smoke/pet smells, burns, marks, etc. All of the electronic equipment is functioning as it should including the power antenna. There are no warning lights on the dashboard. The air conditioning is nice and cold. Mechanically:This 560SL runs and drives excellent. I absolutely love driving it and have personally put on about 120 miles or so. The 5.6L V8 starts instantly with no smoke and runs great. It has tons of subtle power and has a great feel. The transmission shifts very smoothly, and the car goes dead straight down the road at 75mph with no shakes or noises. The brakes feel strong and firm. The car comes with a rare Factory Hard Top Stand, Full Size Spare Tire, Original Tool Roll, Front Floormats, All Books, 2 Top Handles, and Various Newer and Older Service Records. I was told it was from washington state. It had 99530 actual miles at purchase and it currently has under 156000 actual miles. The car has always been stored indoors and usually under a fabric cover. I know of no accidents or body damage other than a replaced portion of the grill (bird) and a taillight assembly (careless delivery driver). The body hardtop and interior are in very good to excellent condition. The soft top which is original has 2 small tears that could be repaired or the fabric replaced. The dash has several small sun checks on the top surface. I would suggest a new set of tires within 5000 miles. There is some fluid coming from the power steering unit. The leather seats have no tears or holes. A kenwood cdradio with a removable faceplate is included. Also included is a removable fold down rear windscreen which will greatly reduce air turbulence with the top down at freeway speeds. The 5. 6 liter engine runs very strong and the transmission is solid. The service records for the car are available as well as the contact information for my mechanic who has serviced the vehicle for nearly 20 years. He recently installed a new fan clutch and thermostat as well as pan gaskets. This car is a high quality cruiser and a pleasure to drive.
