It runs and drives as nice as it looks! I purchased it last summer from the original owner, a gentleman from the boston ma. Area bought it new for his wife as a 50th birthday gift (it still has her initials on the doors) and now shes 80 and no longer drives. Carfax shows that it was initially titled in ma. Then re-titled in fla. He told me they owned a home in fla. And trailered the car back and forth to ma. It was mainly serviced by mb dealers or specialists. That's the history, now the vehicle. It appears to be a mainly original car and its one of the nicest examples of this era that i have seen, no stories, check out all the pictures. The paint shines, the chromes perfect, interior is in great shape, it starts, runs, and drives great, like new michelin tires all around,the 5. 6 liter v8 has plenty of power,sounds great, transmission shifts perfect, hardtop is in great condition with rolling rack. I've taken pics of the few negatives which are peeling paint on front corners of hood,2 very minor rust spots , one small spot low on driver driver door & one on lower right front fender, several scratches in front of trunk lid from taking the hardtop off, the convertible top looks good from a distance but will need replacement to be a show stopper with the top up (see pics), and the original radio is not working.
