This is a sweet car and to find one this clean that runs so good is a rare find. It has the 3. 8l 6cyl. Engine which is a great little engine. It puts out plenty of power for this car, gets great mpg, and makes this car just a nice little driver that just cruises down the road. The miles are really low as well at having only 113k. However check the auto check i included. The odometer stopped a few years ago and only works sometimes now. Under the hood and undercarriage are clean and dry as can be. Make sure to watch the video i do a complete walkaround of the car and even go on a test drive. It is a teal almost metallic sea foam green color and it looks great on this car. The paint is in excellent shape except for a little bit a fading on the hood and has a very nice shine to it. They all look great on this car. All of the chrome on the car looks great and just shines in the sun. This sl does have the gold package trim. Someone put the 560sl badge but it is still a 380..;-) the body is very straight on this car and it looks like it was parked in a garage most of its life. It has the factory polished aluminum wheels that are in good shape and just show minor road wear. The are wrapped in a newer set of tires that have lots of tread left. Options: automatic transmission 3. 8l v6 power windows factory a/c leather power mirror aftermarket cd player hard top and soft top the interior is in excellent condition on this car. It has the tan colored interior that goes great with the exterior. The leather seats are in really good shape and just have minor wear from getting in and out over the years. There are no rips or tears in them anywhere. The carpets are in the same great shape and show no wear and don't hardly have a stain in them anywhere. This car is just a super nice classic car that is a great runner and a blast to drive. Call anytime with questions…. Vinyl loose on the sun visors. Two small cracks in the dash. Power mirror is tempromental. The odometer stopped working a few years back and now only works every once in a while but i believe miles aren't to far away from what they say. A/c is cool but may need a recharge. Paint faded on spot on hood. Seats have minor wear and small stress cracks. Tiny rust bubbles near back emblems on trunk lid. Wrong emblem on back. The w126 series was in production for a decade (1981-1991) with only 11,267 produced in 10 years. Only 4,393 were built in 1982 and between 1981-1984 only 3,313 were sold in the u. The original mrsp for the 380sec was over $50,000, which solidified this car with affluent owners. The example here is one of the most original and well-preserved mercedes examples garage kept motors has ever seen. It was sold new in tinley park, illinois and has remained in the midwest since, never being driven in inclement weather, always babied, and always garage-kept. It is finished in the original and rare lapis blue over a blue soft leather interior. The seats have recently been re-done along with the headliner. The interior and exterior finishes are in fantastic condition, even for a car 34 years old (see photos). A couple tasteful upgrades include 15-inch wheels (originals were 14-inch) and an aftermarket radio with bluetooth audio. The original, numbers matching 3. 83l/155hp v8 sohc engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive powers the car. It aslo has 9. 4:1 compression, bosch k-jet fuel injection, 12-volt electrical system, 3650lb curb weight, 4-wheel disc brakes, and a 23-gallon fuel tank. The car has been fully serviced and has no-excuses. It is turn-key ready and in need of a new home. The interior is in emasculate condition! No rips or tears in the seats and head lining! Which matches perfectly with the tan interior! Starts up amazingly! I am selling it because i want someone who grew up in the 80's and remembers riding in this car to be able to own it. The numbers on the windshield says $8000 but i am willing to take $6999 for it.

I mean this car only has 120k original miles. I just love these cars. Puts out a lot of power and makes the 380sl a blast to drive. These little two door cars have a very sporty feel to them and handle like a dream. This is one of the nicest ones that i have ever had. Clean as can be under the hood and under carriage. The factory hood liner is even still there and in great condition. It has the tan colored paint and the paint is in excellent shape. It still has a lot of shine to it and hardly are ding or scratch in it. The body is super straight on this car. All of the chrome is in nice condition and just shines in the sun. It has the removable hard top feature that takes 2 minutes and 2 people and comes right off. The car looks great either way. The factory polished aluminum wheels are in good condition and they have a very nice set of tires that have lots of tread life left. The interior is in excellent condition on the car. It has the tan interior that is clean as can be. There is very limited wear on the seats and there are no rips or tears anywhere on the seats. The carpets are in good condition but do have a couple small stains that would come out with a good shampooing. All of the options work in the car as well. It has power windows, ice cold factory a/c, and factory radio. This is just a great little car that is clean as can be an is an excellent runner. Call anytime with questions….
