The turbo powers up the excellent mercedes and the transmission shift it through the gears in its characteristic teutonic fashion. No rust through, no accidents, no excessive smoke or leaks this is a car with at least another 350,000 miles left in it for the next owners based on the 5 cylinder's reputation for long lasting reliability. The air conditioner is in operating condition. The original first aid kit is in it's compartment in the rear window shelf. At this particular moment in it's life this car will need some reconditioning and restoration. The driver's seat leather is dry and cracked and worn and faded. We have just had a new windshield put in it. The sunroof motor makes noise but no action and the cruise is inop. The left rear small window doesn't do all the way down without a helping hand. Legendary 3. 0 liter turbo-diesel engine starts on the first try hot or cold, and with only 183k miles ( 6000 per year) on the odometer it is barely broken in! These engines are known as a million miles engines!! This mercedes is ready to be driven anywhere! This blue beauty is a joy to drive and cruise in! This rare german coupe handles great at the high speeds, and it is very comfortable, economical, dependable, durable and smartly engineered. A typical gasoline engine has a torque to horsepower ratio of something like 0. 9: 1. A diesel on the other hand is more like 2. 5 : 1 or even higher.
