There's also a lot of brightwork that will satisfy any fan of the era, from the nicely detailed grille and fender ornaments to the bright chrome rear bumper and FALCON block letters on the rear panel. The bright red paint job on this one accentuates the crisp body lines with two shades of gray that look right on the vintage sheetmetal and give this affordable classic a very upscale look

1963 ford falcon - lithia springs, gastreetside classicslithia springs, ga 30122ph: 8773671835web: www. Despite its tidy dimensions, ford packs a lot of style into its popular compact model. The bright red paint job on this one accentuates the crisp body lines with two shades of gray that look right on the vintage sheetmetal and give this affordable classic a very upscale look. But aside from a few bumps and bruises that are merely evidence of being driven and enjoyed, it's still plenty flashy. There's also a lot of brightwork that will satisfy any fan of the era, from the nicely detailed grille and fender ornaments to the bright chrome rear bumper and falcon block letters on the rear panel. The interior isn't totally correct, but it sure looks great! Those are the original seats, now covered with handsome red fabric seat inserts that duplicate the original patterns and are a lot more comfortable than the original vinyl. Close to the same shade as the bright red bodywork, it's a combination that would look at home on an upscale european import as much as on this sturdy ford. They also made up a set of matching door panels, and fitted red carpets that contrast nicely with the black floor mats, so it's clear that some money has been spent here. And despite being a small car, this falcon has a spacious trunk with what appears to be the original mat and a full-sized spare tire. They say that everything goes in cycles, and despite the horsepower wars warming up in the early '60s, the falcon instead went with style and economy instead of brute horsepower. The engine bay is tidy, the block wears correct black engine enamel with bright red tinwork, and all the belts and hoses are recent so it's ready to go. It exhales through a single exhaust system, as original, and the automatic transmission delivers smooth shifts and remains unobtrusive in traffic. Even the tires are economical, being modest 185/80/13 whitewall radials w. Cloth Interior

1965 falcon ranchero vin 5h27t279300 this decodes as follows: 5 – 1965 model year h – lorain, oh plant of mfg. 27 – ranchero product line. T - engine 6 cyl 200ci (originally) 279300 - production number. Ford started with 100000. For sale is a very nice turned out 1965 falcon ranchero that has been modified from the stock 6 cylinder configuration into a v8 with some grunt. This car was purchased out of an estate sale about 8 years ago. It hasn’t been used very much since then but has had some excellent modifications done to it. The current engine is a ford small block of 347ci. It was originally prepared by cobra automotive for some vintage racing and was previously installed in a 1967 cougar. Topped by a holley carb with electric choke. It’s been fitted with a cobra dual plane intake manifold and aviaid oil pan. The block is a ford cast iron block along with cast iron heads. Ignition is handled by an msd distributor along with the msd digital ignition box. Exhaust is handled by a very nice set of top of the line doug’s tri y long tube headers with ceramic coating. The car has a new exhaust system that exits before the rear wheels reminiscent of nascar…very cool indeed. This engine sounds great and packs the punch to go with the sound. The gearbox is a bit of an unknown as it was in the car when purchased. It’s a 5 speed and believed to be a tremec. Rear end gearing is unknown but we think is in the 3. 50-3. 70 range and works well with the 5 speed. The interior has been redone with very comfortable procar bucket seats. The braking system has been upgraded with front disc brakes to go with drum rears. A power assist dual master cylinder has been added for safety. The brakes work well. Wheels are the original 14” with baby moon hubcaps with trim rings. The look is pure 60’s!! The odometer show 74945 miles which could be original as the car was not heavily driven but we can’t positively verify this. The car has been painted recently. Top is satin black over a dark red single stage gloss main part of the body. All the trim has been powder coated a satin black for the now popular blacked out look. The fenders are believed to be original ford with the stamped in date codes of 5 23 b on the passenger side and 5 19 b on the drivers. The car appears to be rust free and in excellent condition. The bed of the ranchero has been fitted with a roll bar and then was coated with a very tough textured bed liner. Bucket Seats

With the mustang's runaway success, the ford falcon sports coupe got a full makeover in 1966. Just try to find a v8 mustang coupe restored to this level for this price. Moving away from the dowdy big car styling of the earlier falcons, the all-new 1966 models looked grown up yet sporting, with trim proportions and clean lines. Workmanship is quite good overall, showing clean gaps and smooth bodywork that took a pretty serious investment in time and effort. Nice chrome bumpers, a bit of stainless trim, and familiar ford jet-exhaust taillights make this car easy to recognize, even at a distance, and it is all in very good shape. And for a bit of an upscale look, this one wears a nicely fitted black vinyl top so it looks like it should cost a lot more than it does. The handsome black bucket seat interior is a pleasant surprise, and the nicely detailed seat covers and instrument panel are cool in a '60s minimalist kind of way. The seat covers, carpets, and door panels are in excellent shape and anyone who has driven a vintage mustang will probably feel at home here, too. Instrumentation is basic, with two big round dials just ahead of the driver, but someone has added the usual trio of auxiliary gauges under the dash. The woodgrained grant gt steering wheel matches the shifter knob on the 43-speed manual transmission, which is a lot of fun with the v8. A/c is a nice find in a car like this and there's an updated am/fm/cd radio in the center of the dash that sounds worlds better than the original am unit. Rebuilt three years ago with an . 030 overbore, upgraded camshaft holley 4-barrel carburetor, and long-tube headers, it's a nasty little motor that makes ensures this falcon delivers on its serious looks. Service access is great in the cavernous engine bay, and with a big radiator up front, it never gets cranky in traffic. The aforementioned 4-speed manual transmission spins an 8-inch rear end with 3. 83 gears inside and a track-lok limited slip. The clutch, throwout bearing, and pressure plate are new and both the front and rear suspensions have been rebuilt. Traction bars out back do a good job of hooking it up and it's nice to see power steering and disc brakes up front. Flashy torque thrust wheels add just the right period performance look and are wrapped in fat 235/60/15 bfgoodrich blackwall radials. Affordable fun is still out there, and this 1966 falcon stands out simply because it's unusual. AM/FM✔ Air Conditioning
