The body is a low-roof 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria hardtop. I prefer the simplertrim of the 1955 Ford model, so I replaced the grille and side trim with thoseof a 1955 Customline. Other custom additions are '55 Merc station wagontaillights, '55 Olds headlights, '65 GTO hood scoop, 4 tailpipesnotched into the rear bumper. Hood, deck, door handles and other emblems shaved. Various seams filled, bumper bolts filled and welded from the back. Electricremote door and trunk latches. Bucket seats and wraparound rear seat are from a1965 Thunderbird, 1964 Galaxie center console. All interior sheet metal, steering column and wheel painted Cadillac Polo Green. Satellite radio, notcurrently subscribed. Chassis is lowered front and rear with Jamco loweringsprings, Fatman front suspension uprights, lowering blocks, Bilstein shocks(front only). Power front disc brakes from Granada. Wheels are 15 X 6 steelieswith 205/75-15 Diamondback whitewalls; hubcaps are 1956 Lincoln Premiere. Nopower steering, although it could definitely use it. Car was featured in the May2014 issue of Street Rodder Magazine. A frequently heard comment is that it's the '55 or '56 Ford ever built; immodestly, Bucket Seats
