There were only 1,487 of these cars built for the usa. Of those there are less than 350 in the galen govier registry. This super bee has the govier report and is done in the factory color combo. Smoky mountain traders is a classic car dealer in east tennessee. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the super bee. The hemi orange paint is accented by the black a12 lift off hood and black tail stripe. Down the sides are straight with all the gaps being very symmetrical and good fit of the panels. All the chrome and stainless on this dodge is in great condition, but it's not new. Also, the glass is all in great condition and appears to feature a lot of the factory glass. The front windshield appears to be replaced along with the both the front and rear seals. To finish off the look it's sitting on set of 15" black steel wheels with goodyear red line tires. Next, we will look at the interior of this '69. On the inside, it's done in black with buckets which is the factory option for it. The seat covers are like new and the padding is great. It does have the console with the floor shifter and wood grain accents. Looking at the door panels they also have the wood grain accents and are in good condition. Looking at the dash it has some aging, but the dash pad is in great condition. It features the 150 speedo, tic toc tac, and the deluxe steering wheel. Finally, we will get to the driveline of the dodge. This is what made these cars so special. It's dressed in the factory air breather and factory style chrome valve covers. The 440 is mated to the 727 auto trans and the sure grip dana 60 with 4. 10 gears. For exhaust, it has a set of hooker headers and dual pipes with flow master mufflers.

They year is 1971, for the most part, the muscle car era is still alive, all be it on life support still alive. Colors were bright, the big 3 were fighting it out, and it was still a great time to be a kid in high school coming of driving age. The hemi orange paint on this particular example is miles deep. We know that the stripes would not have been glossy back in 1971, but the owner wanted to preserve them from the heat and the sun so they are under 7 coats of clear. Like a lot of the cars we have, the fit and finish on this car was strongly paid attention to so everything fits probably better than the day it rolled down the line. The motor and the entire car have been done with in the last 2000 miles. There is a new carb on the motor. This 440 is mated to the original automatic transmission and all goes out through the stock rear end. As we all know, mopar's have never really been known for flash and cash interiors. They have always been all business with what is under the hood. The interior of this car is very clean and everything functions properly. The seats front and back have been re covered and there are no rips or tears, and the carpet is new as well. They car does have power steering and power brakes so it will turn and stop which is a nice thing on a car with this kind of power. Give that loud pedal a couple of pumps and hit that key. These types of cars just bring back a flood of memories.
