The car does have some new parts like the windshield(front only), rubber for front and rear windshield's, window felt, and some other weatherstrip , new taillight lenses and I have a used left rear quarter window to replace the broken one. The car does have some rust not too bad(look at close up pictures of rust area's)like on the rockers, some on the rear quarters and the truck pan(I have a solid original truck pan from a 4 door that is included), there ar. From the dry state of New Mexico and it still has what is left of it's original pink/white paint and interior, it has been sitting since 1966 and the engine is not original it's a 413 from a later model Imperial(I could not turn it over)

Not only does this restoration-fresh coupe feature a numbers-matching drivetrain, it also boasts crisp butterscotch, black and white aesthetics. As one of the more subdued and scarce hues to come out of chrysler's hip, 'brighter is better' mindset, the car's rare code 96 yellow is some of the crispest paint to ever adorn classic mopar metal. Naturally, the fall-like hue looks right at home highlighting this authentic a12's documented, nut-and-bolt restoration. When applied under a vivid super bee stripe and buffed to a show worthy shine, it becomes an absolutely fantastic reminder as to just how cool detroit's golden era really was. And overall, this dodge rolls as a high-gloss visual masterpiece which oozes the bare knuckle confidence and old school appeal that made chrysler street warriors the stuff of legend! The a12 package was chrysler's very successful bid at creating a street legal platform for drag racers. That meant, after being beat on weekend after weekend, most of these mopar track warriors were retired to the unglamorous existence of field decoration or barn furniture. Naturally, finding a top-notch a12 is a pretty rare occurrence. In fact, this killer coronet was rare from the get-go, as, by the time all was said and done, chrysler had only produced roughly 150 auto-equipped wm23m hardtops. Above that hood, tinted glass rides between satin wipers, pristine stainless frames and fresh, fratzog-branded vinyl. Below that glass, slab-sided body panels hang traditional door handles amid bright wheel trim, clear marker lamps and a correct chrome mirror. And at the back of the car, a black valance centers a bold "dodge" script and factory-fresh taillights between stainless exhaust tips, a small bee emblem and a second chrome bumper. More popular than chrysler's famed hemi, and almost as feared, dodge's storied 440 six pack was designed to be the industry's best combination of comfort, streetability and big block performance. Oxygen whips through functional cowl induction to a correctly decaled air cleaner and three original holleys, which are bolted to a correct edelbrock intake. At the front of those carbs, a traditional points distributor sequences fire through proven chrysler electronic suppression cables. At the sides of that intake, hemi orange valve covers perfectly contrast old school exhaust manifolds. Combustion is provided by forged pistons and high quality hydraulic lifters. Cooling is provided by a heavy duty radiator that's cinched to pliable hoses via simple squeeze clamps. Power is provided by a tagged mopar battery. And aesthetically, the buff powerplant, fully rebuilt in 2010, is clean, mean and ready to show. Drivetrain/suspension the chassis specs leave little question as to what this b-body was engineered to do best. The aforementioned rb v8 funnels power to an original a727 torqueflite, which hangs a matching partial vin behind a 2,500 rpm stall converter. That transmission twists a correct dana 60 axle, which spins a posi-traction differential around 3. 54 gears. Below that proven drivetrain, a heavy duty front torsion bar and rear leaf suspension has been completely rebuilt to include a correct sway bar, correct 'uneven' leaf springs and correct 11-inch brakes. Above that proven drivetrain, over-restored floors have been layered in glossy butterscotch 2-stage and dressed with everything from a new stainless fuel tank to fresh stainless fluid lines. Exhaust is handled by free-flowing, 2. 5-inch pipes, which jettison cooked dinosaurs through an h-shape crossover and traditional turbo mufflers. And torque meets the pavement through correct 'h code' wheels, which spin authentic looking g70-15 goodyear custom wide tread redlines around gloss black paint and chrome lug nuts. Interior open this coronet's solid doors and sit down where legendary mopar power melds seamlessly with a no frills, no-nonsense driving environment. At the center of the floor, firm front bucket and rear bench seats sport bright white covers. The car's restored charger dash hangs rebuilt factory gauges, including a tic-toc-tachometer, beside a familiar chrysler solid state radio. At the bottom of that dash, like-new carpet balances color-keyed floor mats at the sides of a correct console and a correct chrome shifter. At the sides of that carpet, fresh door panels hang new armrests under mirrored trim and color-keyed frames. In front of the driver, a faux wood steering wheel spins satin spokes around a fratzog-branded centerpiece. And behind the passengers, a fully restored trunk is authentic all the way down to its vintage spare tire and yellow decklid decals.
