All original unmolested real documented pantera gts very rare !! A must have for any collectionthis is one of three 7000 series pantera gts models of the known 160 total built , 1 of 97 imported, who knows how many are left. This car has great documented 2 owner clean history with all original panels, original gts silver & the 'born with' engine/transaxle. Excellent floors & metal. This is a late production example, may of 1974, when they were getting down to the last 90 days of ford/detomaso production. Books, tools, records dating back in the 90's. Factory features include working a/c, power disc brakes, full instrumentation, factory tinted glass, space saver spare never down, campognolo wheels. Engine; rebuilt, no leaks no funny noises, no knocks, runs tight. Performance; starts immediately going to fast idle for a few seconds, full throttle runs effortless. The car pulls cleanly to the redline with no effort, no smoke. Cooling system; upgraded radiator/fans/hoses. Does not run hot does no overheat. Electrical; no problems. Turn signals, maserati air horns , running lights, side lights headlights, headlight doors, brake lights, 2 speed wipers all function as the should. Instrumentation works as it should. Gts clock works & window switches updated and brass gears in the regulator. No seat tears, no rips, carpet replaced & nice, new headliner. New tires and complete major service body/paint; doors close firmly, seams align nicely as do hood & deck. Headlight doors centered, meaning no crash damage. The car has all original sheet metal it was born with. This car was never wrecked. Paint is believed to be original that's not a problem considering the car is a real gts. No dings, no gouges, no side-swipes. I've driven it quite a bit to car shows and such with no problems. Of the final swan song for that fomoco/detomaso marriage. Understand... 1974 gts models don't come up for sale that often, maybe one or two a ~year~. Now that's a rare 'marque' by any standard. Hey guys, this is rich at the mustang ranch in golden, colorado. I have this 1971 de tomaso pantera #thpnle01413 for sale by the owners of one of the first pantera shops in denver. Richard and steve o'brien owned pantera specialties and denise quinella fully restored and up graded this beast. Starting off with a clean rust free disassembled shell and taken down to bare metal. Steel group 4 fender flairs were added as well as the drop floor pan kit and frenched headlights/ european side marker lights. A rebuilt, fully machined/ balanced 427 side oiler was mated with the polished rebuilt zf 5 speed transmission. Shelby intake manifold with bj bk holley carburetors on top. The fuel is ignited by electronic ignition and exits the motor through big boar headers and duel resonator mufflers. The power is transferred through a performance clutch and upgraded drive axles. Cooling system was enhanced with the bigger cross flow radiator, cooling tubes, fans and hoses. The rear wheel carrier hub assemblies have been modified with the tapered roller bearings to take a side load. All of the upper and lower control arms were cleaned, bead blasted, powder coated and urethane bushings were installed. Stiffer shocks/ springs were replace and lowered the pantera about 1 1/2 inches. The brakes were up graded with a new master cylinder and wilwood calipers/ rotors and steel braided brake lines. Rebuilt rack and pinion/ ball/ heim joints and a 4 wheel thrust angle alignment with the campagnolo wheels and pirelli p-7 tires make this car handle like it is on rails! The interior was completely re upholstered and fitted with a 1974 dash. Bronze metallic paint is done in an acrylic enamel with black ax cents and a clear coat. There are no signs of collision or rust on this car. However there are occasional small chips and scratches. The wipers and front turn signals do not work at this time, "switch, fuse or bulbs?" the steering wheel is a little loose and needs to be tightened. The air conditioning is all there and hooked up but will need a recharge. This 427 beast is cold blooded, when it stares up there are no noises, smoke or leaks. I have had this pantera out for a drive and the clutch, forward/ reverse gears engage smooth. The handling and power are a plus. Stored in a climate control garage and started 4 times a year. There are 3,407 miles since the rebuild. There is no guarantee or warranty on this italian piece of history. Climate Control✔ Air Conditioning

This vehicle was originally designed and created to be under the De Tomaso brand but it was later changed due to corporate issues. The design was also inspired by the TVR Griffin so the idea was to create an Italian TVR! Like the Pantera, this is an Italian sports car with an American engine / drive-line. Let me express that I have had the opportunity to drive all sorts of cars and this vehicle's driving experience is off the charts, both civilized and intoxicating at the same time. It also bring lots of attention, not only because its amazing looks but also because almost no one knows what it is. SVT Cobra engine feels smooth and very powerful; steering is aligned and centered; overall firm ride; brakes are responsive & linear; and A/C blows cold too. Comes with (1) key with remote. Below, I also included vehicle specifications that I grabbed from the web! Cosmetically, it's in VERY good condition also. Interior shows minor wear & tear, if any, and exterior paint shines like new too.
