I call this "a gentlemans hot rod" 1940 cadillac 60 special fleetwood 4 dr. This beauty has a completely stock look as from factory, like al capone or dick tracy would be rolling up in it. The cadillac is finished in a deep gloss black paint. She shines at any angle, with much depth and gloss. Literally a mirror finish. Restoration was completed about 17 years ago and has been lovingly enjoyed ever since, and still shows exceptionally well. To put it simply, its just super nice. I would call the car a high end driver quality vehicle. Undercarriage is very clean, straight, & finished in flat black with a light undercoat which is consistent with a factory application. S not all cobbled up with auto zone rubberized crap! Was a body on restoration. The engine bay has a gloss black finish that looks great. It rides, drives, and handles very well; straight down the road with no shimmies, shakes, or vibrations. Extremely tight and surprisingly easy to drive for what it is. I would not hesitate to get behind the wheel of this car with my family and drive it across country. She cruises at 65 mph like a new car. Rides like a cadillac!! A person of any size or age could drive this vehicle comfortably. All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges,etc are functioning properly. Engine fires right up with no smoking, ticking, noises, etc. Has a fantastic sound with 2" dual exhaust - its quiet! Car is turnkey and ready to drive anywhere. The interior is finished nicely with grey cloth, and carpet, door panels, headliner, and all show extremely well. A ton of money and the best parts were used creating this piece. Air Conditioning

But driving one of them confirms cadillac now builds world-class automobiles.  it was the cts that kicked off this renaissance. Introduced as a 2003 model, its edgy styling immediately grabbed the spotlight. Praise of its dynamic qualities quickly followed from the automotive press, which focused on its superb rear-wheel-drive chassis. Two years later the cts is improved and more refined. The 2005 cts comes with a choice of these new vvt v6 engines, a new 2. 8-liter v6 and a 3. 6-liter v6 introduced as an optional engine last year. Nor would it feel out of place on a race track. Cts-v is only available with a manual shifter.  for 2005, a new six-speed manual gearbox is also available for the regular cts models. Both the 2. 8-liter and 3. 6-liter v6 engines are available with the six-speed manual or the more popular five-speed automatic. The small triangular speakers for the optional bose system are mounted on the a pillar, and look cool. Onstar is provided, allowing drivers to make hands-free, voice-activated calls. A tall driver or passenger will be comfortable in front and only slightly cramped in the rear. The rear seats are comfortable for two or three passengers, offering good leg room, though lacking in thigh support. There is a convenient pass-thru tunnel between the rear seats, to the trunk, if the split folding rear seats are ordered. driving impressionthe cts drives wonderfully around town. It cruises comfortably on the freeway and feels at home on winding roads.  the new 3. 6-liter v6 is silky smooth when cruising, less so at full throttle. It's a thoroughly modern engine with a 60-degree aluminum block, double overhead cams, variable-valve timing, electronic throttle control, six coils and a structural oil pan. The 2. 8-liter v6 vvt is a modified version of the 3. 6-liter v6 with vvt. The 2. 8 and 3. 6-liter v6 earn the same epa-estimated mileage of 18/27 mpg city/highway and run on regular 87 octane. Choosing between them is a matter of power versus cost. The five-speed automatic transmission is superb. In normal mode, it seems to shift a lot, especially at a casual pace. Selecting the sport mode changes the transmission's attitude, giving it sharp and decisive response. The automatic is an excellent choice for the cts. This car is a partially completed project which still has some original untouched items. The body work has been recently done and the car has been painted. It does still retain its original condition interior, trunk, and engine compartment. The front driver seat does have some minor tears and stains. The rear seat does not have any tears and only has minimal stains. The door panels show honest wear. The dash is overall in nice condition and still retains all original parts, including the radio and the automatic headlight dimmer. The carpeting appears to be original, and the original floor mats are in the trunk along with most of the pieces that appear to be missing from the outside pictures shown here. The car does run, but will need the gas tank and fuel lines replaced and probably the carburetor rebuilt. The treadle vac system for the brakes will need some attention although all wheel cylinders and brake hoses are new. This is a good project for someone who can tackle the remaining work and it definitely deserves to be back on the road. It is a good candidate for repair to a driver condition car, a full restoration, or even a very cool modern drivetrain hot rod.

Extremely rare find as these were initially not as popular to restore or keep (so few survived the crusher) and will be different at the car shows or cruise ins. May be the only one on the site for sale.  this model has a unique flat roof with a blade like overhang appearance on the end with stylish wrap around rear window. The original 390 cubic inch engine and 4 speed auto jetaway transmission have been removed and no longer available. Clear title with exempt odometer as mileage is ultimately unkown. Was originally an ac car with cruise.  has exhaust flame thrower kit installed. The engine and trans were pulled to make way for an ls late model gm engine swap but project never really started due to time, interest and other projects taking priority. It is best to be a project for someone looking to build a rat rod or hot rod. The good: most of the body is straight and solid, a lot of new opgi sheet metal & floor pans were welded in several years ago with addressing any obvious rust through in the floor or firewall. Roof paint is driver quality.  entire cab floor was then coated with heavy por 15 treatment then a layer of eastwood thermo mat to control sound, vibration and heat. New cadillac restoration parts black carpet then installed. Lots of new rubber parts for doors and body, front leather bucket seats are from a sebring convertible which have the active shoulder belts for safety. Rear seats have shoulder belts installed as well. Most window seals to include door frame were replaced recent years too. Power window motors also replaced a few years ago. Has aftermarket modern sound stereo (looks classic but modern internals with mp3 flash adapter) that fits stock radio location, interior roof has heat mat too. Fuel sender replaced and also has two external electric fuel pumps, primary & back up auxillary emergency pump. Front & rear bumpers to include rear wheel skirts are professionally line x covered (protective coating like bed liner) which is very tough. Center driveshaft bearing and rear diff support replaced. Lots of new fastener hardware in bumpers. lenses are all there in driver condition.  granatelli sure start battery saver installed too. new kyb shocks and wheel studs replaced, older style billet wheels which are in decent condition but could use a polish. The not so good: except for roof, body paint is cheap flat black treatment which is chalky in appearance or chipping away, dent to drivers front wheel well area, minor rust in various places on body panels but none are huge holes, missing some exterior trim pieces. Exterior trim to include grille need restoration to look good. Interior dash ok but needs restoration to look good, interior door panels are rough & need professional restoration too look good enough to install. It certainly fits that description with its sporty handling, exhilarating acceleration and powerful braking. Their names are like alphabet soup: cts, sts, xlr, srx. But driving one of them confirms cadillac now builds world-class automobiles.  it was the cts that kicked off this renaissance. Introduced as a 2003 model, its edgy styling immediately grabbed the spotlight. Praise of its dynamic qualities quickly followed from the automotive press, which focused on its superb rear-wheel-drive chassis. Two years later the cts is improved and more refined. The 2005 cts comes with a choice of these new vvt v6 engines, a new 2. 8-liter v6 and a 3. 6-liter v6 introduced as an optional engine last year. Nor would it feel out of place on a race track. Cts-v is only available with a manual shifter.  for 2005, a new six-speed manual gearbox is also available for the regular cts models. Both the 2. 8-liter and 3. 6-liter v6 engines are available with the six-speed manual or the more popular five-speed automatic. The view from the rear is broken up by the indentation cut widely around the license plate in a contrasting color.
