For sale is a 1962 buick skylark convertible. The car is in awesome shape, runsand drives great. The interior looks brand new and the power black convertibletop works great. The paint is in good shape, a solid 8 out of 10. There is norust or paint bubbles on the car. The rear bumper could use a rechrome but looksgood. Everything on the drivetrain works like it is supposed to. The carfeatures the lightweight aluminum block v8. The motor was replaced with a jmcode 1963 engine about 25k ago. The two speed automatic works perfectly. Newbrakes all around. No rust underneath either. I just did a time up with all newfluids, spark plugs, wires etc... Comoptions:description:1989 buick skylark custom here is a very nice 89 buick skylark that only has 66k original miles and 1 or 2 owners check out my store for more great unique and classic cars. Look at the autocheck score. Out of an average of 9-27 it scored a 35 make sure and check out the video below. This is a great little reliable gas saving car. The autocheck says that it is a 2 owner car but i still believe that it is a 1 owner car. Either way it is a low owner car that has been very well taken care of over the years and only has 66k original miles on it. This car has the quad 4 2. 5l engine with automatic transmission. Everything works great and i have been driving it around its a good car. The engine runs good and the tranni shifts solid like it is suppose to. This is a nice little car to drive. I think this car is rated at around 30mpg. It is a very nice darker metallic silver. The paint is in very good shape. The chrome is in great shape on the car. A couple pieces of the trim have been damaged over the years but still look good on the car. Has the factory spoked hubcaps that look almost new but are missing the center caps. Has a nice set of tires that have about 70% tread left. The seats are like new. They show almost no wear. The carpets look great and aren't all stained up. The dash doesn't have any cracks in it. All the gauges work and are clean as can be. It does have the manual crank windows and has the factory radio. These are just great reliable little cars that get amazing gas mileage. Great for anyone looking for an every day driver and looking to save on gas money. Call anytime with questions…. Some of these were created by buick fifty years ago, like the full-length body crease; and others are part of the new performance image, like the custom cowl hood. And speaking of the hood, take some time to notice the darker paint applied there. This not only covers the front area, but also detail lovers will notice it flows onto the a and b-pillars to create a subtle two-tone effect. The final piece to this custom performance package are the coys wheels that are staggered in size so the larger rear ones tuck under the wheel well and really send a message about where the power is being sent to the ground. The front seats are borrowed from a more modern cadillac cts-v. So not only are they leather with a comfortable suede insert, but also they are power adjustable and offer far superior bolstering than anything that came out of the '60s. They all provide crystal-clear and complete info, which is just another indication that there is something really special under the hood. It's a 540 cubic-inch v8 from the wizards at merlin. It takes a huge investment for one of these monster motors (and we even have the receipts to prove it.) but more than just big and bulletproof, this has been further enhanced with more go-fast goodies like an edelbrock intake and a quick fuel carburetor. Plus, it's backed up by reliable components like an aluminum radiator, electric fan, holley electric fuel pump, steel braided lines, and full msd ignition. Those hooker long tube headers also add to the performance, and at the same time, contribute to the fury that barks from the dual exhaust. There's only about 2,000 miles on the whole build. This buick is barely broken in.
