This is a really nice, mostly original 72 buick gs 2dr stage 1 coupe. I have the sloan longway report to authenticate it's heritage and can forward it to serious parties if required (it's 8 pages total). I bought it from an individual about 15 years ago. Hasn't been driven much since and was just sitting for a couple years. The person i bought it from said it was all original but the engine was rebuilt. I've had a lot of muscle cars though the years and have seen about all of it but this car shows as unmolested as they come. I will get the car on a lift and provide pictures of the underbody and engine compartment in the next few days. For shipping information, vehicle is garaged in fort worth, tx zip code 76179. Message me here or call john at 214-769-6588 for any questions. The following is a description of it's condition: it's been repainted and no sign of rust at all. The paint is older and could use a good detail. Certanly not show quality but also very presentable. Minimal amount of chips and imperfections for a car this old. The color appears to be a little more copper than the original orange. It's one of the most fun to drive i've had. Comfortable automatic with air that can smoke the tires at will. The interior appears to be all original and in great condition. It shows 78305 miles. I have no idea if that's correct because it's exempt and the previous owner is gone but it does show well. It has a gsx style trunk spoiler that i believe was added to the car. The smog system appears to be intact and the pump turns freely. It doesn't have a belt on it right now and hasn't had one since i bought it. The brakes have been rebuilt. New master cylinder, calipers, rotors, pads, rear drums, linings, wheel cylinders and hoses. The fuel tank was drained and fresh fuel added. The carburetor was rebuilt. It will have a new battery, air filter, oil change with flat tappet oil additive and all fluids checked prior to its sale. The a/c is complete but not currently working. I will have someone look at it while the oil change is being done. The following is info from the sloan report. Car is sold as is, where is with no warranties real, implied or otherwise. AM/FM✔ Air Conditioning✔ Chrome Wheels

Streetside classics | ebay template p{ margin: 0px; } . Videos{ width: 790px; margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; } . Videos object { height: 445px ! This 1971 buick gs350 proves that not only was the horsepower there, but the style as well, because this bright red buick has a performance look that leaves no question about its purpose. Painted in its correct code 75 fire red, this is an unusual and rare buick. The gs took the standard skylark, which was already a handsome car, and put enough testosterone in it to grow hair on a bowling ball. The hood with functional ram air induction, a rear wing, and the rocker panel moldings with red stripes give it plenty of street cred. The body is very, very straight with good, clean lines and decent panel alignment, and it's kind of refreshing to see an aggressive gs buick that isn't bright yellow. The gs also received a blacked-out grille and special badging to help it stand apart (as if it needed help in that regard). Most of the chrome on this car appears original and is in excellent shape, another indicator of just how nice this car really is. Buick got the interiors right in the gs series, offering the sporty look that muscle cars demand and combining it with an upscale dose of luxury that is befitting of gm's top-of-the-line muscle car. The upholstery seems to have been recently freshened, with correct seat covers, door panels, and nice black carpets that all look quite fresh. Round gauges set into square recesses in the dash look mostly original with a little fading in the lenses, but vivid orange needles are easy to see and the tach looks almost new. As a buick, it comes with important options like factory a/c (some of the system has been removed but it should be easy enough to put it right), power steering and brakes, and a 4-speed sticking out of the transmission tunnel. The original am radio still lives in the dash, and it's probably due for an upgrade... Even the small block buicks were a menace on the streets, and this one is a very strong runner. The engine bay is dominated by the big ram air vents, but underneath there's a dante red buick 350, which has its own unique sound and a mountain of torque available. Turn the key and it fires with a noteworthy buick burble from the flowmaster dual exhaust system. The aforementioned 4-speed is a great find in a luxury-oriented buick and the rear axle is a rugged 10-bolt supported by original coils and new shocks with helper springs. Buick road wheels are some of the best looking rolling stock of the muscle car era, and these are fitted with big 225/70/14 front and 245/60/14 rear bfgoodrich t/a radials. Raretop line informationyear:1970vin:446370h150443make:buickstock:mhm721model/trim:gs 455 stage 1. Worldwide vintage autos is pleased to present this 1970 buick gs 455 coupe. Historythe 400 was replaced for 1970 with the {7. 4 litre} buick v8, used in the gs 455. The base model v8 was rated 350 hp (260 kw) and 510 lb·ft (690 n·m) at 2800 rpm. In the optional stage1 trim it was rated 360 hp (268 kw) and 510 lb·ft (691 nm) at a low 2800 rpm. As with all american engines produced prior to the 1972 model year, these were sae gross ratings, which are generally significantly higher than sae net ratings and are not indicative of what actual production engines produce in their "as installed" condition (with all engine accessories and full exhaust system in place). The fastest magazine test results from this period were obtained by motor trend magazine, which managed to extract a 13. 38 et @ 105. 5 mph from their 3,810 pound gs stage 1 coupe test car. Using hale's trap speed formula, this result indicated actual "as installed" peak hp of approximately 360 sae net (ironically the same as its advertised gross figure, meaning this engine was very conservatively rated for that time period). The use of the larger sized 455 block created a maintenance problem by the exhaust manifolds being in too close proximity to the upper and lower a-arm bushings. Heat would literally melt the a-arm bushings after a relatively short period of time; rapid tire wear and front end alignment difficulties were the first sign of this common problem, which was common to all makes and models of this gm body style with the 455 engine. It was not uncommon for front ends to be rebuilt with grease fittings added, to "lube" the bushings at the a-arms, to help against the heat. Interior-bright white vinyl with buckets up front and a rear bench. Mechanical -buick 455 cid v8. -stage 1 equipped. -4-speed manual transmission. -rally ride control package. -stunning car. -must see! Disclosure-there are a few chips / imperfections in the paint and small chip in trim. (see detailed pictures)-this was not a stage 1 from the factory. The cost of parts and restoration of these vehicles are increasing daily. They are not making any more and, therefore, they are becoming more rare by the day. Collectible vintage vehicles have historically appreciated at a rate greater than that stock market, gold and other arts and collectibles as documented by many articles and auction result tracking. Deposits:deposits to hold vehicles is $500. Deposits are non-refundable due to i). Inspections should be performed prior to putting a deposit down on a vehicle. Classic car restorations:the term "restoration" in context to the vintage car world has taken on a definition of its own. For some people, a restoration is simply painting a car and replacing items as needed, while for others, restoration means an extensive disassembly and overhaul, with each piece getting rebuilt or replaced. As a consumer, it's important to understand the basics of restoration levels for it can impact classic car values substantially. There are hundreds of ways to “restore” a vintage car or truck including but not limited to the following: i). Frame off restoration. Body of vehicle is completely taken off the frame and restoration includes body, frame, floor pans (top and bottom), etc. These restorations tend to be extensive and costly. Rotisserie restoration. These restorations are when the body (or body and frame on a unibody vehicle) are disassembled and restored utilizing a rotisserie. Body of vehicle is completely taken off the frame and restoration includes body, frame, floor pans (top and bottom), etc. These restorations tend to be extensive and costly and iii). Cosmetic or “driver quality” restoration. These restoration are typically limited to cosmetic items including paint and body, interior, trim and emblems, etc. There is a universal 100 point grading system rating classic car conditions ranging from 100 being excellent to 20 being unrestorable. In addition to the levels of restoration above, it's important to understand the type of restoration as well for it can also impact value substantially. Type of restorations include: i). Factory or stock restoration. This type of restoration is geared towards restoring the car or truck to stock specs from the factory as if it were new. These types of restorations use original or oem (original equipment manufacturer) where possible. Factory original restorations tend to bring the highest dollars from collectors. These types of restorations are geared. Air Conditioning
