Aston martin has been one a household name in the luxury, exotic and supercar market for a very long time. Powered by a 6. 0l v12 engine and backed by a 5 speed auto, this car is no light weight. But that is also part of the reason it is such a nice car to drive. The v12 pushes out 400 horsepower but also 398 lb/ft of torque. Which topped both it's main competitors when new, the bmw z8 and the ferrari 360. This db7 has only 26,000 miles on her and has been very well kept. And yes, the license plate frame on the front can be removed. Some states still require the front plate, so for now it will stay. The aston has upgraded 20 inch custom wheels both front and rear and they give the car an even higher end appearance. The top is in great shape and works as it should. This is a car that still turns heads to this day and is luxurious enough that the queen herself would be happy to drive. The spare tire kit included acomplete trunk shelf and liner kit. The tool kit is present and in unopened containers. The color is pearlescent silver metallic and the interior is black leather with cream leather inserts. Every panelin the interior is leather including the entire dashboard, the entire seats from front to back, entire door panelsand even the rear partial shelf. The leather is sumptuous and exudes the highest most luxurious standard. Thecarpet is the highest quality british wilton wool. The all leather interior aroma is intoxicating and is overallexquisite. Additional interesting information. This car's transmission is the world class tremec t56 6-speed manual shift. Itis the same style that is used in corvettes and modern mustangs. Shifting is smooth and precise. Changing a clutchis easy and straight forward by simply removing the transmission... Unlike the db9 with a torque tube that requiresseveral people to man handle and two days repair time. It uses a standard style clutch that lasts and lasts vs. This is the best bonus of this car from amechanical repair aspect... And is added to the positive experience of db7 ownership. Involvement with ford in thisera had some great benefits. Being a retired jaguar tech and extreme gearhead, i love the engineering that isstraight forward. I wish that they would have used this system in the jaguar xk8... But then, that would have beentoo much competition for the db7 with the manual transmission... As aston, jaguar and ford were all intertwined atthat time. The car has always been in the south. It has never had any salty road exposure and most likely has never beendriven in the rain. The paint is flawless as in no chips, dings, dents or repairs whatsoever.
